“Music Without The Beige Filter.”
Daylight has its own rhythm.
Structure has its own discipline.
I respect that.
But not everything fits at 1 PM.
Some humor lands better after midnight.
Some songs hit harder when the lights are lower.
Some commentary doesn’t want to be trimmed for the clock.
After Hours isn’t about being outrageous.
It’s about not stopping halfway.
Letting the double meaning finish the sentence.
Letting the tension breathe.
Letting the playlist go where it wants to go.
Full voltage.
No half dial.
Eclectic Wonderland stays exactly what it is - sharp, intentional, built for broadcast.
After Hours is just the same voice… later.
And later has fewer filters.

Velvet Umbrella Radio: After Hours began as an experiment.
One late-night idea.
One mix.
No expectations.
What happened next surprised us.
Without promotion, without a campaign - listeners showed up anyway.
They stayed.
They leaned in.
There was something in it.
After Hours lives in a different space than Eclectic Wonderland.
Darker. More intimate. Less daylight.
Mickey leads.
Celeste runs the board from the shadows.
It’s music without the beige filter.
Each episode is built deliberately - theme-forward, immersive, and unapologetic in its mood.
Darkwave. Post-punk. Alternative.
Whatever the night calls for.
This isn’t replacing anything.
It’s opening another door.
Stream Episode One on Mixcloud below. More to come.
UPDATE!
The first hour of Velvet Umbrella Radio: After Hours now airs live on WDRT Friday nights from 2–3 a.m. The full, unfiltered mix still has a home on Mixcloud.

The first After Hours broadcast wasn’t scheduled.
It wasn’t announced.
It wasn’t even meant to become its own thing.
But it happened.

What started as a late-night experiment is now becoming its own frequency.
Velvet Umbrella Radio: After Hours is officially in development.
A dedicated hub is live.
Future broadcasts are in motion.
This time, we’re doing it intentionally.

After Hours wasn’t an accident.
It was inevitable.
You can only hold certain music back for so long before it demands its own room.
We dropped one mix. No campaign. No push.
You showed up anyway.
That’s not luck. That’s chemistry.
After Hours is where I play what I want. No clock. No soft edges. Darkwave, post-punk, tension, atmosphere - whatever the night requires.
Mickey leads.
Celeste runs the board and pretends she doesn’t enjoy it.
This isn’t daytime radio.
It’s not polite.
It’s not meant to be.
Episode One is up.
If you press play, don’t pretend you didn’t know what you were walking into.
