Broadcasting from the Driftless region of Wisconsin, Velvet Umbrella Radio is DJ Celeste’s little corner of the dial - a cozy signal from the cosmic lounge where the playlists get stranger, the lights get lower, and the records feel like stories.
What started as a community radio show grew into a small constellation of programs hosted by DJ Celeste Violet, Mr Announcer Man, and the increasingly mischievous Mickey Fingers.

Darkwave, post‑punk, coldwave, goth, dream pop, synth‑noir, and the tracks that only make sense after midnight.
Legend has it the mix first appeared when the Puppet Master slipped through the curtain and left Celeste a playlist.
No one has confirmed this.
